At Science of Learning, every lesson is designed not only to help students score well — but more importantly, to help them think clearly, explain confidently, and apply what they’ve learned in meaningful ways.
"Graduating with a Sociology degree from Nanyang Technological University, I’ve spent 15 years turning my passion for teaching into a journey of transformation. From humble beginnings as an undergraduate tutor, I've taught hundreds of students, helping them overcome self-doubt, fall in love with science, and ace their exams. More Than Just Tuition
Cultivating Growth, Curiosity & Confidence
At the heart of my teaching is the belief that education isn’t just about chasing grades. We choose to keep my student intake limited each year so that I can stay fully committed to a focused group, helping students grow as thinkers and learners.
That’s also why we start early, from late November to mid-December, before the new academic year starts, to complete the syllabus ahead of time. This gives students the luxury of space: time for revision, reinforcement, and calm preparation — not last-minute cramming.
We also believe that parents play a crucial role. SOL thrives when learning continues beyond the lesson. We work best with families who:
- Encourage regular revision of notes
- Support consistent practice
- Believe in the process of growth, not just results
